<p>Under the general direction of the Parks &amp; Recreation Director, the Parks Superintendent performs administrative and managerial work involving the planning, organization, and supervision of the maintenance of City parks, athletic facilities, grounds, and municipal buildings. This position serves in a leadership role in implementing policies, maintenance programs, and projects that enhance the quality, safety, and sustainability of the City’s park system, public spaces, and municipal buildings.</p>

<p>Bachelor’s Degree in Park and Recreation Administration, Park Planning, Landscape Architecture or a related field</p><p>Valid Florida Driver’s License required.</p><p>Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) certification required within one year of hire.</p><p>Certified Parks and Recreation Professional (CPRP) certification preferred.</p>
